iPad iOS 4.2 將會把轉向鎖定鍵改成靜音鍵

iPad 在機身的旁，除了音量控制鍵外，還有另一枚實體按鍵。在 iPad iOS 4.2 之前，這枚實體按鍵是 「Screen rotation lock」，用來設定屏幕，以防止自動轉向。不過，由 iOS 4.2 起，iPad 的這個按鍵將會改成 「Mute」靜音按鍵。

由於 iOS 4.2 中，用戶可以透過 Multitask Bar 中設定是否鎖定自動轉向，所以這枚按鍵變得可有可無，而且把它改成較常用的靜音功能也合理。事實上，從 iOS 4.2 Beta 版本開始，這枚實體按鍵經已變成靜音鍵，不過用戶唯一注視的是在 iOS 4.2 正式版之中，用戶能否自定這枚按鍵的用途為靜音或是屏幕轉向鎖定，但從 SJ 的回覆當中，似乎是不可能。
