Spirit Untethered Jailbreak for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch 正式推出

早前我們曾經報導過 Dev-Team 即將推出名為 Spirit 的 Jailbreak 工具，就在今天 Dev-Team 正式推出了Spirit 工具。Spirit 主要針對 iPhone、iPod Touch 及 iPad，經過 Spirit Jailbreak 後用戶可以透過 Cydia 安裝第三方軟件。

這次 Dev-Team 推出的 Spirit 相比起早前 Geohot 推出的 Blackra1n 更為完善及方便。

什麼是 Spirit

• Spirit 可以 Untethered Jailbreak 所有型號的 iPad、iPhone 及 iPod Touch
• Spirit 只 Jailbreak 不解鎖
• 如果你現在正使用 tethered jailbreak (即 redsn0w 或 blackra1n)，需要先還原然後使用 Spirit
• 如果你使用 unlock iPhone 3G 或 3GS，你就需要有 SHSH blobs 檔案及還原至 3.1.2，然後再使用 Spirit

使用 Spirit 條件

• iPad、iPhone 或 iPod Touch 的 firmware 版本為 3.1.2、3.1.3 或 3.2
• 已啟動的裝置
• iTunes 9 (包括 iTunes 9.1.1)
• 先同步裝置備份資料

What’s Spirit?

• Spirit is an untethered jailbreak for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch on the latest firmwares.
• Spirit is not a carrier unlock.
• If you currently are using a tethered jailbreak, you have to restore to use Spirit. Do not upgrade if you use an unlock on an iPhone 3G or 3GS. (You can, however, restore to 3.1.2 if you have SHSH blobs for that version.)

Requirements

• Any iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch on firmware 3.1.2, 3.1.3, or 3.2.
• An activated device: one not stuck on the Connect to iTunes or Emergency Call screen.
• Any version of iTunes 9 (including 9.1.1).
• Syncing with iTunes before trying this highly recommended.

Note: On iPad, all this is still sort of beta. Some packages in Cydia, not designed for iPad, might screw up your system and require you to restore. Be careful. (And no, Cydia’s appearance is not final.)
