Apple 才剛推出 iOS 4.2 不足兩天，又傳來了有關於 iOS 4.3 的消息了！目前我們未知 Apple 將會推出的是 iOS 4.3 或只是小規模更新的 iOS 4.2.2，不過消息就指 iOS 4.3 將會在年尾前的十二月推出！
消息指，iOS 4.3 主要加入內容訂閱功能，因為早前傳出新聞集團 (News Corp’s) 將推出名為 The Daily 的 iPad 專屬報紙，因此 iOS 需要更新以作配合，而 Apple 將會在 12月9日舉行相關的發佈會。贊助商連結
