為了繼續解決 iPhone 4S 耗電的問題，加上一些小問題的修正等等，Apple 正準備推出新版本 iOS 5.1 的新固件 (該不會是為了阻止 pod2g 團隊的 JB 工作吧)。根據消息，這些向開發者釋出的 iOS 5.1 beta 3 加入了一些修化及優化，並且把「Enable 3G」的 Toggle 重新加入。
